4 days Cycling Tour Mekong Delta Ho Chi Minh

Hanoi Travel Vietnam operates a 4 days Cycling Tour Mekong Delta Ho Chi Minh with the best locals.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Bike ride 50km (Lunch, Dinner)

Hanoi Travel Vietnam’s guide and driver will pick you up at 7:45 am at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh for the transfer to My Tho in about 1,5 hours. 

You will ride the first beautiful route that winds through exotic fruit farms.  as you head further South along concrete canal-side paths.  The vegetation grows denser and the streams open into larger branches of the Mekong River. Thus, you will visit a busy Vietnamese market as well as make other surprise cultural stops along the way!

After a local lunch in a village restaurant, we take a ferry to An Binh Island where we will spend our night at a local home stay.

The rest of the afternoon, you will be free to explore this charming garden island by yourself.

Day 2 – Vinh Long – Tra Vinh – Bike ride 65km (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast, at 8am we take a short boat trip to meet our driver for a one hour transfer to the famous Mekong coconut town, Ben Tre.

Back on your bikes, you will view colourful scenes along the riverside while pedaling past charming delta homes before boarding a ferry for a refreshing trip across the wide Co Chien River.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before cycling through a peaceful and beautiful water coconut plantation. We arrive at a ferry crossing of the main arm of the Mekong river to Tra Vinh town, where you will spend the night and you can enjoy dinner and local life at night.

Day 3 – Tra Vinh – Can Tho – Bike ride 60km (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

At 7:30am on the third day we begin our exploration of the history, culture and architecture of the Khmer people, one of Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic Minority groups, pedaling to several fascinating relics and temples.

Cycle as much as you wish through these peaceful countryside paths. After lunch in the Cau Ke district, and a short transfer to escape the busy city roads, we arrived at our accommodations in Can Tho. Don’t miss out on its well-known night markets!

Day 4 – Can Tho – Return to Ho Chi Minh – Bike ride 30km (Breakfast, Lunch)

After an early breakfast, more adventure awaits! leaving Can Tho from Saigon, we will take an hour boat ride to explore the famous Cai Rang floating market. After pursuing the vendors’ wares, we will hop on the bikes and head off along the river. The paved but isolated country roads host great views of more of the region’s colorful fruit orchards, often overhanging the paths. After lunch and break,

we will transfer you back to Saigon about 3 hrs drive.
